Welcome

The number of Local Nature Reserves (LNRs) in Cornwall is constantly growing with more being proposed and designated all the time. All the Local Nature Reserve sites have been chosen for their wildlife value, historic interest and strong local community involvement in the site management.

The sites are well used by locals and visitors alike for recreation and enjoyment of the natural environment. Many different flora and fauna can be seen on the LNRs including some of national importance.
