IntroductionGwithian Sandpit is part of the Hayle to Godrevy Towans dune complex. It is an important greenspace and natural area for the urban populations of Camborne, Pool, Redruth and Hayle. The conservation value of the site is also highly significant, with sand dunes being some of the most diverse areas in Cornwall. |
