Introduction

Gwithian Towans is one of the most visited dune areas in Cornwall, with high numbers of tourists visiting the site every year. Various beach activities take place at Gwithian Towans with the area being very popular for surfing and other watersports.

The South West Coast path runs through the site and is well used by walkers and dog walkers. The area also boasts some amazing views across to St Ives Bay.
