Wildlife

On the Par Beach Local Nature Reserve the most common habitats are dune system with associated plant communities and invertebrates. Open water in the lagoon and reed beds is important for over wintering birds and birds in passage (list available)

The St Andrew’s Road site has open water which is great for seeing ducks and other aquatic creatures. The wet woodland with typical plant communities is also an interesting place to explore.
