HistoryBoth Par Beach and St Andrew’s Road were declared Local Nature Reserves in 1997. Par Beach has a good photo history showing how lagoon has developed and dunes have accreted. St Andrew’s Road was formally part of the site of a former municipal rubbish tip. The ponds that can be seen today are man made. Both sites are owned/leased by Restormel Borough Council. |
