In the LNR itself you can enjoy a number of scenic walks (circular
walks as well as a pub to pub walk), a picnic or just sit by one
of the ponds and enjoy the peace and quiet. Near the seafront (outside
the LNR but within Seaton Countryside Park) there is plenty of open
space for family games. There is also an enclosed play area with
activities for small children. You could also combine a visit to
the Local Nature Reserve with a visit to Seaton beach – which
is just yards from the main entrance to the LNR.
Public events such as guided walks and family activity days also
take place at Seaton LNR. For details of these, please contact
the South East Cornwall Discovery Centre on 01503 262777.
The nearest public toilets are behind the Seaton Beach Café (sorry,
no disabled facility). There are pubs at both Seaton and Hessenford
and a couple of cafes in Seaton.
