HistoryIn 1999 Penwith District Council and Cornwall County Council competed a Derelict Land Reclamation Scheme on Trelyon Downs. Through the Cornwall Landscape Project the site has been transformed with help given by Green gym, pupils of St Ives School, the Probation Service, Penwith District Council, Bosilliac Nursery and the Silvanus Trust. The site was opened as the Steeple Woodland Nature Reserve on the 12th of October 2002. |
